Pepper Lunch became my fave food outlet whenever I feel lazy cooking at home during weekends. I will drag myself out of the house and head to AMK Hub which is only 10-20 mins away to experience this cook-it-yourself food while your plate is hot.I find it really cool and fun, especially when Mr.K do the cooking for me and I reach across the table to cook the food on his plate.. aaawwww..cheesy!
I've tried many outlets around Singapore like the one in Suntec City, Dhoby Ghaut at mrt station, Parkway Parade, in Bishan Junction8, etc. Steaks at affordable prices plus the thrill of flipping ur food in a rush to make sure everything is cooked before the heat wears out. The iron plates are heated to 260C in 70seconds and remains hot for more than 20 minutes. This keeps the food warm and flavorful (thats the secret of the iron plate).

The one thing that I've discovered lately is that when this fast food outlet is located in Kopitiams (PepperLunch Express) like the one in Bishan Junction 8 , the price is slashed to almost 50%. Now I can enjoy it even better. Maybe because these outlets don't have service charge compared to the outlets in AMK where your food is served at your table. Drinks are not included though, you have to buy at the Drinks section ofcourse. The selection is just limited, but as long as my fave chicken and salmon combo is still in the menu, that's fine with me..
