Marche - Swiss Market Restaurant

Our all time fave Swiss restaurant. It is always mistaken to be the sister company of Vil'age @ The Heeren (closed down the last time I checked..) because of the same cashless dining concept and theme setting.

Situated at the rooftop of Vivo City , you can enjoy eating inside a farm-house-like setting and people watching at the same time thru the glass walls at one side. You'll get the feeling of alfresco dining indoors..hehehe..Just make sure you come earlier than peak eating hours (to avoid the long queue), sit near the glass walls and flip the sign in your table as "Reserved".

What makes this place interesting is their cashless concept. From a wide selection of dishes available, you can go to the different stalls (pasta, seafoods, beverages, vegetables, etc..), pick your dish, hand them your guest card (which is given to you when you came in) and wait for your food to be cooked. You can then go back to your table and enjoy your food or get some more from the other stalls. Worry about the bill later when you go to the cashier near the exit. Let me remind you that you cannot go out without the guest card.. ;0)

The two main reasons why we always come to this place are the swiss rosti (potato shreds) and the mouth watering dessert, crepe topped with a scoop of chocolate ice cream, fruits and almond bits. But ofcourse you can experiment and create your own..

All the food are cooked right infront of you and everything looks so fresh. Just with the aroma of the food you can feel that you are full already..hihihi. Yes, it is a bit costly here but it is another nice dining experience. Try it during special occasions or family events.
