Expecting the unexpected...

T'was very hot today morning and I set off to meet Mr. K's boss. I am running out of time and rushing to Mandarin Oriental in Raffles Ave where he was staying. I'm a bit late coz I've searched far and wide and walked around China Square Central to get him two boxes of Don's black pepper chicken pie (my fave), geeez.. I don't want to let the VP wait but it took time for me to find that store.

I told the cab driver to stop immediately as we reached the main entrance of the hotel. Oh my, Sir JS was already out of the hotel to go for a walk with his buddy. Just right in time I get off the cab. Unexpectedly he turned my way and saw me running to him. Without even knowing what I looked like he stopped and maybe he guessed that I am Mr. K's better half... hehehehe good thing Mr. K already showed me his picture.

After all the intros, the hi and hellos, I finally got my package from New Jersey. I know what is inside but I was wondering what is that small box neatly wrapped in purple paper. hhhmmm... what could it be? I'm expecting only chocolates. Lots and lots of sinfully delicious chocolates!

can't wait to finish all these.. nyahahaha

(still wondering what's inside the gift...) Is it a book or a pretty pink blouse? What's the occasion anyway? I was too curious to open the gift and to my surprise, t'was a Canon digital camera which I was planning to buy this coming IT show. I only ripped part of the paper but when I saw the word "Canon" written on the box... oh my... geeesh ...Oh my gosh... well that's all I can say after seeing it... I went ballistic... teary eyed... I was speechless and blank minded.. I cannot believe that every detail, every specs of the camera that I want was the exact camera I'm holding in my hands..

I just remember one night we were talking about cameras when he bought his DSLR, I was giving him some briefing on photography and mentioned what kind of camera I like....He secretly take note of that and then bought that particular cam. I didn't even told him the model. Now I have it..(I found out that when he slept so late the other night as in 2am , he was doing the wrapping... hehehehe)... I am still not over it....oh my......lovely... so thoughtful and sweet...

To top it all, the message on the card was really touching... I'm missing the sender a lot and I wanted to hold him in my arms sooooooooo tight. I don't know what else to say. I am just too happy today and I know that we'll be together very soon... Can't wait bebi...
