Celebrating CNY at Singapore Zoo

It's Chinese New Year today! It's a long weekend but we didn't opt for an overseas trip this year. All stores and establishments are closed except for the tourist spots. Well, we don't want to waste 3.5 days just by sitting in the house. We went to Singapore Zoo. Yipee! We wanted baby Ish to see real animals esp. the elephant which she only sees in Barney's videos. She may not be old enough to remember it but we will bring her again when she's a little older. Perhaps with her little sibling too in the future.

Here goes our little girl's adventure. First time in the Zoo.

Our main purpose is the elephant show and the Water Play at Rainforest Kidzworld.

The elephant show was at 3.30pm so we went straight to it.We skipped some area and decided to just went back to it later after the show. The zoo was really crowded because it's CNY but we really don't mind.

We passed by the "Garden with a View" and the flower landscape was really nice and colourful.  It has the CNY theme with the Wood Horse as the sign for 2014.

Our last stop was the Rainforest Kidzworld which is closing at 5.30pm.

My baby really enjoyed the Zoo and the Water Play. Next time we will also visit the Jurong BirdPark.
