For mommies like me who takes care of the house, hubby and the baby all by myself, saving time and energy is so important. Whenever I need to go to the grocery store, it will take me more than an hour preparing myself, the baby and her things (bottles, milk, diapers, etc...). Imagine the loads of grocery items that I need to bring back with me to the house plus the baby who refuses to sit quietly in her stroller and keeps on standing like she was riding a surf board. It feels like World War! So tiring and draining.
I happened to see that daddy K "Liked" Redmart on Facebook. I got curious and checked out the site. What caught my attention was the "Free Delivery" when you purchase a total of above $49. But when I browse the items, I'm not quite sure whether it will be the best solution for me because most of the things I need is not in their site.
We then attended a Baby Fair in Suntec Convention Centre and again I bumped into "Redmart". They were giving out goodie bags just by signing up an account. No harm in trying right!? The next day after that event, I signed in into their site and well it's amazing how the number of items and brands on offer increased.
I decided to give it a try since we are running low on grocery stocks. The site was very user friendly. I kept on adding items in "My Cart" cautiously aiming for the total of atleast $49. I kept on finding items that I need and my cart was already showing above $100. Plus I got very excited when I saw a few favorite brands. They have the On Sale tab which I go through first because I don't want to miss any discounts. At the end of my browsing I got a headache because I want to cover all the items in their site as much as possible. (Yeah I know they have a Search option).

4. You can choose the date and time of delivery. They deliver til late night.
5. They carry my favorite brands. (Breeze, Borges, San Remo, Purefoods, Century etc..)
6. Their site has a "My List" which saves your last purchases to make your next order easier and faster.
7. They have items which are priced lower than the big grocery stores (seriously..)

I ordered Monday and it was delivered today, Wednesday at my preferred time.

Hey if you don't want to save your credit card details with them...there is such a thing as PayPal... where have you been all this while silly...PayPal offers you another layer of protection
ReplyDeleteYes dear, you are right.. I have a PayPal but FOR ME, paying by credit card is easier... but still paying by Cash is safer... it depends which one you are more comfortable with... ;)
DeleteAnd besides when I signed up on Redmart,if my memory serves me right, I saw Cash-On-Delivery as one of their payment options but not yet activated... They also had Credit card on Delivery. But I guess they removed it now and I understand if it is causing them some service issues.

ReplyDeleteHi there, the shipping fee is I guess $7, but if you purchase more than $75, shipping is FREE.. So I make sure that I purchase more than $75 and I buy as much items that we need (laundry soap, diapers, cooking oil, etc.. the basics).

hmmm.. i think their delivery schedule depends on the number of orders for the day. If you visit their site, they will show you the next available delivery date/time. So far I haven't had the same day delivery. My earliest was the next morning when I ordered at noon.
