4D/3N Phuket Getaway Series
Last May, I won a 4 days and 3 nights stay at Marriott Mai Khao Beach from a Mother's Day contest. We were so excited but decided to travel only in July as we are busy with the preparations of baby Isha's 1st birthday party for June.
We flew to Phuket via SilkAir and reached at the resort at around 12PM. It was summer time so the resort was quite packed and since we cannot do an early check-in, we stayed for sometime at the lobby and my baby fell asleep right on the couch at the reception area.
I noticed a baby elephant being led to the pool and the kids went crazy touching, playing and taking pictures. That's very unusual for me to see a big animal roaming around too near with humans and we are not in the zoo or safari. Except for that time when I was in Bangalore (India) where the cows were roaming freely on the road beside the big malls.
We then finally went inside our apartment and I am very happy with what I saw. It was cozy, big enough for my family and fully equipped with amenities. I was supposed to bring my parents and siblings here but they weren't able to book in time. This suite can accommodate up to 6 pax.
The kitchen and dining area were small but well equipped with utensils, appliances, pots, dishwashing liquids and even boxes of tissues. Just what we need to prepare my baby's milk and wash the bottles. I don't intend to cook here because mommy is on a holiday mood.
The master's bedroom was cozy with a huge toilet and bath.

Love love the bath tub! I spent a long time here while daddy K and baby sleeps.
Also loved the toiletries with lemongrass essence. So relaxing! It became my new favorite aromatherapy scent. Our usual favorite is lavender.

We were so sleepy we just ordered our lunch from the room service.
After lunch we took some rest and slept for around 2 hours.
We woke up and prepared ourselves to go out and look for a place to eat dinner.
