Singapore Christmas Events 2014

It's that time of the year again. My baby Ish is so excited for Christmas because it will be the first time that she will receive a gift from Santa. She's been waiting patiently for the day that we are putting up our tree, writing her first letter to Santa and opening her gifts on Christmas morning.

Aside from these activities at home, I will also bring the family to different events celebrating this joyous occasion. I've consolidated interesting places to visit this holiday season which is good for families and singles alike. Do check back because I will keep on adding events here.

1. Christmas Lightup at Orchard Road

of a brilliant display of radiant lights all across Orchard Road, symbolizing the spirit of hope that the Christmas season always brings.
The Light-Up Period is from Saturday 15 November 2014 – Thursday 1 January 2015 and will take place at the following times of the day:
- 6.30 pm to 6.00 am on Christmas Eve and both New Year’s Eves;
- 6.30 pm to 2.00 am on Fridays and Saturdays;
- Except as stated above, 6.30 pm to 12.00 midnight on Mondays to Thursdays and on Sundays.

4. Chuggington - All I Rail-ly Want for Christmas

Venue: City Square Mall

Hop aboard Chuggers! Get ready to roll as the trainees gear up for a party with songs and non-stop action at The Chuggington Winter Snow Party ’Live’ On Stage from 6 to 21 Dec!

5. Sentosa Playcation

This holiday, come down for a host of fun-filled activities that is bursting with the widest variety of  Giant Inflatables, spectacular Symphony of Lights show and celebrate the festive season with great music and mouth-watering grilled delights at Grill N’ Chill.

6. Changi Airport 

GO AROUND THE WORLD WITH MICKEY MOUSE AND FRIENDS: 

14 NOV – 5 JAN

Mickey Mouse and Friends have turned Changi Airport into a holiday wonderland! Take off to T3 to enjoy the view of Swiss Chalets*, and showtime spectacular at Germany's Neuschwanstein Castle. Step right up to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Bouncy Playground**. Go down a slide three-metres high, and have fun in an endless ball pit and super sticky velcro wall! At T2, snap a picture with a larger-than-life Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse topiary in Spain! Plus, visit the sights of Broadway at T1's New York City*.
